Every fall we hold a free kids open class. In 2026, we look forward to seeing you on September 1, 3, 8, or 11, always from 5:30–6:15 PM. You can also arrange a free introductory lesson with us at a different time. Your child will learn the basics of ballroom dancing — Cha-Cha, Samba, Rumba, Jive, Waltz, and Tango.

Group Dance Classes

  • Our group classes are a fun way for Children and Teens to learn how to dance in a relaxed and friendly environment.
  • We offer beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels to accommodate your dancing ability.
  • Dance classes are offered at different age and levels so that students are grouped with other students of similar ability.
  • Group classes are ideal for learning dance patterns, variations and practice fundamentals of specific dance styles.
  • Beginners can choose whether they want lessons every Tuesday or Thursday, always from 5:30 to 6:15 p.m. It's also possible to attend on both days.
  • For advanced students, we have Thursday lessons from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m.

Did you know that ballroom dancing can actually help your kid get into a better college?

We’ve had multiple students get into prestigious schools like Stamford University just because of their great dance careers. Your child could apply for the artist/performer scholarship! For this scholarship you can start recording there results at age 10.

How often should my kid take classes?

For the best results, we recommend starting with one group and one private lesson a week. This will help your child learn and absorb all the dance skills and techniques they need.

What should my kid wear? 

We encourage all dancers to wear our dance dress code: girls - skirt, leotard, and dance shoes; boys - black or white shirt, black pants, and dance shoes.

How long does it take for my kid to start competing? 

It all depends on how much practice your kid does. Our students usually start competing within the first six months.
